Day On March 25, a delegation from the Department of Justice of Hua Phan province, Lao PDR visited, exchanged and learned experiences in judicial work and civil judgment enforcement in Son La province. Receiving and working with the delegation were leaders of the Department of Justice and the Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement of the province.

In an atmosphere of solidarity, special friendship, comprehensive cooperation, mutual understanding and trust, leaders of the two provinces discussed the functions, tasks, organizational structure and staff of the Department of Justice and the Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency. At the same time, they shared experiences in drafting legal documents, regulations and forms of dissemination, legal education, and notary activities in the judicial field...

The Son La Provincial Department of Enforcement of Criminal Judgments has coordinated with the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, the Border Guard Command, and the Son La Provincial Police to discuss and work with relevant Lao authorities to notify relatives and families of Lao nationals who committed crimes in Vietnam, were tried by the People's Court of Vietnam, and ordered the return of property to their relatives and families living and residing in Hua Phan province. Currently, the Son La Provincial Department of Enforcement of Criminal Judgments is enforcing 9 cases, corresponding to the amount of money to be enforced of over 145 million VND; 4 cases have been completed, and 5 cases remain to be enforced.

Discussing the contents of cooperation in the coming time, the leaders of the units of the two provinces discussed the continued implementation of the contents of the agreement between the two countries' Ministries of Justice and between the Departments of Justice of the two provinces. The Department of Justice of Hua Phan province proposed that the Department of Justice of Son La province support the training of human resources, short-term and long-term training to develop the team of judicial staff. Support facilities and equipment for the office and continue to create conditions for the district-level justice department of Hua Phan province to visit and learn judicial experience and civil judgment enforcement in Son La province. Strengthen propaganda and education work for cadres, civil servants and people of all ethnic groups in each province about the tradition of solidarity, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, and cooperation between Hua Phan province and Son La province in particular./.
