The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province has issued a plan to organize the beautiful photo contest "Happy Family Moments" of Son La province in 2025.

The contest is organized to promote propaganda to raise awareness of all levels, sectors, organizations, individuals, families and the whole society in implementing family work and preventing and combating domestic violence. Mobilize people to practice civilized lifestyles and cultural behavior in families and social communities, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of Vietnamese families. Strengthen propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence and sub-law documents to limit and repel violations of the law in the field of family and prevention and combating domestic violence, gradually preventing and reducing domestic violence in the whole province.

At the same time, through the contest, we will spread and honor the good values ​​of Vietnamese families, promote ethical standards, lifestyles and good cultural traditions of families. Contribute to educating cultural traditions and family values, thereby raising the sense of responsibility of all people in preserving, conserving and promoting the good cultural traditions of families of ethnic groups in Son La province.

The contest is open to professional and amateur photographers nationwide, Vietnamese citizens and Vietnamese people living abroad.

The content of the entries must record moments of love in terms of space, time, scenery, beautiful moments of family members; solidarity, love and mutual support in the family; Demonstrating gender equality in the family, in daily life, promoting the tradition of a prosperous, progressive and happy Vietnamese family; Recording beautiful moments, family images and the role of family members today in daily life such as being active in studying, working, producing, raising children, building a happy family, participating in political, economic, cultural and social activities; Propagating to prevent domestic violence; responsibilities of organizations, individuals, family members in preventing and combating domestic violence... ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combating Domestic Violence in 2022...

The work must be valuable in content and ideas, ensure cultural standards and be consistent with Vietnamese customs. At the same time, the Organizing Committee encourages families to wear their traditional costumes.

Regarding the award structure, the Organizing Committee will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes. In addition to the above awards, the Organizing Committee will select 29 quality works to serve the exhibition at the summary and award ceremony.
