Every year, at the beginning of summer, several streets in Son La city burst into bloom with the pink color of the rose bush. While not blooming everywhere like the red flamboyant trees or the purple crape myrtle, each cluster of blooming roses brings its own unique beauty, both shy and radiant, enough to captivate passersby.

Roses are in full bloom at Chieng Le Park, City.
With its easy cultivation, suitability to the climate, and minimal care requirements, the rose bush, with its simple yet delicate petals, effectively blocks dust and purifies the air. Therefore, the city has chosen to plant roses along many streets, in parks, and in schools. This plant not only beautifies living spaces but also contributes to improving the urban landscape, creating a refreshing green space during hot weather.

The vibrant pink color of the rose bushes attracts many people who come to admire them and take souvenir photos.
These days, a visit to Chieng Le Park, dubbed "the most beautiful rose-covered spot in the city," easily reveals groups of young people gathering to take photos, capturing moments amidst the delicate, vibrant pink rose blossoms. Some dress in dazzling outfits, investing in professional photo shoots. Others simply stand beside the flower bushes, smiling brightly for their phones. Regardless of the style, everyone's eyes and smiles radiate beauty, blending seamlessly with the blossoming roses.

Rose bushes have also become an "ideal backdrop" for young photography enthusiasts. A Ho, a freelance photographer in the city, shared: "Every rose season, I'm constantly busy with photo shoots. The best time to photograph roses is in the morning, from about 6 to 8 a.m., or in the afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. On average, I can photograph a dozen clients a day, sometimes 12-15, from graduation photos, group photos, couple photos, to family photos. Through each photo, I also hope to showcase the beauty of the city at different times and in different flower seasons."

Most girls choose to wear the traditional Vietnamese ao dai or white dress when taking photos with the rose bushes.
Beneath the blooming roses, it's easy to spot groups of young people dressed in vibrant outfits, taking souvenir photos and capturing their youth through each frame. Ha Phuong Oanh, 20 years old, a student at Tay Bac University, excitedly said: "This year, the roses are in full bloom, creating a stunning scene. The delicate pink of the flowers combined with the sunlight creates a dreamy setting that brings a feeling of peace and relaxation, and helps me preserve beautiful photos to remember my student life."

Ms. Vu Thi Tuoi, from Group 11, Chieng Le Ward, shared: "Walking under the rose bushes evokes a feeling of coolness and peace. With just a normal sports outfit and a phone, you can capture beautiful moments of the city when the rose bushes are in bloom."
