During their working visit to Son La province, the Central Youth Union delegation, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to young families living and working in the Youth Settlement Village in Pung Banh commune, Sop Cop district.

Here, Mr. Bui Quang Huy highly appreciated the efforts of young households in staying rooted in their land and villages, overcoming difficulties to develop the economy. The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union emphasized that the Youth Entrepreneurship Village model not only contributes to solving unemployment and increasing income for young people in remote areas but also affirms the role and responsibility of young people in participating in building new rural areas, maintaining border security, and developing disadvantaged economic regions.

On this occasion, the delegation presented many practical gifts to encourage and support the livelihoods of households in the village. This is a meaningful activity within the series of programs accompanying young people in starting and developing businesses, especially in border areas and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities.

The delegation came to offer incense and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Co Noi Crossroads.
Earlier, the delegation visited and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Co Noi Crossroads historical site – a place marking the courageous sacrifices of the youth volunteer forces during the resistance war against the French. Here, the delegates expressed their profound respect and gratitude, and affirmed their determination to continue the glorious tradition of generations of Vietnamese youth.
