In 2025, the Training and Mobile Battalion will receive and train 110 new recruits, sons and daughters of ethnic minorities from border districts and Son La city, to supplement the forces of border guard stations and posts, in order to build units and be ready to fight to protect the national border.

Throughout the training process, the new recruits demonstrated unwavering political resolve, strong unity, and strict discipline; they clearly defined their goals and motivations for striving and self-improvement, and were ready to accept and complete assigned tasks. Training content was implemented according to the program and plan, meeting the practical requirements of the new situation. The capabilities of officers and commanders at all levels, the quality of training lesson plans, and the availability of facilities were consistently ensured throughout the training process. Based on the results of the assessment of the new recruits' skills, tactical abilities, weapons and equipment usage, and political awareness, 100% met the requirements, with over 88% achieving good or excellent results.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, the new recruits will continue their training in border guard operations before being assigned to their respective units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Tue commended the achievements of the officers and soldiers of the Training and Mobile Battalion after 3 months of training, and urged the new recruits to continue striving, studying, and training to successfully complete the training programs, and to be ready to receive and successfully complete all tasks in protecting national border security and sovereignty.
