In 2025, the Training - Mobile Battalion will receive and train 110 new soldiers, who are children of ethnic minorities in border districts and Son La city, to supplement the forces of Border Guard stations and posts with the task of building units and being ready to fight to protect the Fatherland's borders.
The Chief of the Provincial Border Guard Command performed the ceremony of handing over weapons to new soldiers.
Through the training process, the new soldiers all have a steadfast political stance, good solidarity, strict discipline; clearly define goals, motivation to strive, practice, ready to receive and complete assigned tasks; training contents are deployed according to the program and plan to meet practical requirements in the new situation; the capacity of officers and commanders at all levels, the quality of training curriculum and facilities are always ensured throughout the training process. Through the results of the test of new soldiers on the level of skills, tactics, use of weapons and equipment, political awareness, 100% meet the requirements, of which more than 88% are good and excellent.
After the oath-taking ceremony, the new soldiers will continue to participate in training in Border Guard operations before being assigned to basic units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Tue praised the achievements of the officers and soldiers of the Training and Mobility Battalion after 3 months of training, and asked the new soldiers to continue to strive, study, and practice to complete the training programs well, and be ready to receive and complete all tasks in protecting the national border security and sovereignty.
