On June 14th, the Provincial Radio and Television Station held the opening ceremony of the 27th Son La Provincial Radio and Television Festival 2025.

The festival featured 104 entries, encompassing various genres: news reports, short news reports - highlighting good deeds and exemplary individuals on radio and television, radio interviews; television arts programs; digital content products: trailers introducing and promoting localities, industries, and sectors; and a competition for producing breaking news from the Communication and Culture Centers of 12 districts, towns, and cities, as well as units with programs broadcast on Son La Provincial Radio and Television Station.

The entries in this year's competition are of high quality, with many demonstrating creativity and innovation in their approach to the subject matter, offering fresh perspectives and addressing all aspects of social life and issues of public concern. The winning entries will be announced and awarded at the closing ceremony of the festival on the evening of June 15th.

This year's festival also includes many exciting and unique activities, such as: the 4th MC Talent Search Competition; the Journalists' Singing Contest; and the 5km Short-Distance Running Race.

The Radio and Television Festival is held every two years, aiming to encourage radio and television professionals throughout the province to create journalistic works.
