The event will take place over five days from June 19-23, 2025 at the East Sea Park in Da Nang City. The art program “Colors of Son La” will feature Thai dances, singing and dancing of the Mong and Dao people.

Some geographically-indicated specialties of Son La such as Moc Chau tea and plums are also available at booths introducing OCOP products.

Da Nang city leaders also reserved a lot of outdoor space at Bien Dong Park for Son La tourism businesses to introduce and promote their products to tourists. In addition, the two localities jointly organized a promotion conference to find a way to link products in the future, solving the need for "even customers" between seasons.

According to Ms. Hoang Ngan Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province, the event is an opportunity for the two localities to cooperate, attract investment, and link up for development in the coming time.

Son La has advantages in tourism products based on pristine nature with resources from ethnic minority villages that have not been commercialized such as Hang Tau (in Moc Chau), Ngoc Chien (in Muong La). At the same time, Moc Chau plateau with endless tea hills, old plum forests blooming with white flowers in the middle of spring, or orange and rose gardens full of ripe fruit in late winter attract tourists who like to "check-in" and enjoy the cold air of the mountainous region.

Meanwhile, Da Nang – one of the top international tourist attractions in the country – has experience in implementing professional international reception services, or implementing travel services, and operating international standard restaurants and hotels. Da Nang will share its operational experience with units from Son La.
