On the evening of June 22, 2025, in Da Nang city, the "Colors of Son La" art program, organized by the People's Committee of Son La province, took place as part of the tourism event of the same name. With its spectacular performances, the program created a vibrant artistic space, rich in the cultural identity of the Northwest highlands, contributing to introducing and spreading the beauty of Son La's land and people to the public in the Central coastal region.

The meticulously planned and staged art program offers visitors a vivid experience of Son La's unique cultural features. Highlights include the Unity Dance, the Thai Xoe dance (a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage), and other performances rich in cultural identity such as the Dao people's bell dance, the Mong people's tha khenh dance, the bamboo pole dance, the throwing of the ball, the Tang Cau ritual, and the Han Khuong space of the Thai ethnic group… all vividly recreating the rich cultural life of Son La's ethnic groups.
According to Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, the "Colors of Son La" art program is one of the activities of the "Colors of Son La" tourism event, which will be held from June 19 to 23 in Da Nang city (which is also the time when the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2025 takes place).

Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Son La province: This is an opportunity for Son La province to introduce its culture and tourism, along with community cultural experience activities, to spread to many localities and regions across the country.
This is an opportunity for Son La province to showcase its culture and tourism, along with cultural experiences of the ethnic communities of Son La; contributing to the effective promotion and development of tourism – one of the solutions for developing tourism into a key economic sector with a ripple effect on many other industries and fields that Son La province is paying close attention to.
It is known that Son La province's tourism promotion activities, aimed at strengthening tourism development linkages, cultural exchange, and promoting the value of ethnic identity, have realized the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the period 2021–2025, with specific and practical action programs, opening up opportunities for successful connection between the Northwest highlands and the Central coastal region.
Besides the "Colors of Son La" art program, one of the highlights that left a deep impression on the people and tourists in Da Nang, Son La province also offered a series of rich activities within the framework of the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2025 (taking place from June 19 to 23, 2025). The distinctive cultural and tourism space of Son La was vividly recreated through activities with strong highland colors such as: the bell dance of the Dao ethnic group, the Tha Khenh dance of the Mong people, the bamboo pole dance, the throwing of the ball, the Tang Cau ritual, and the Han Khuong space of the Thai ethnic group. Along with that were areas for displaying and introducing OCOP products, tourism products, and distinctive Son La cuisine; a Son La - Da Nang tourism promotion conference; and programs to survey and connect tour routes between the two localities.

Son La province hopes to spread the image of the majestic Northwest region and its friendly, hospitable people to the people of Da Nang in particular and Central Vietnam in general.
