On July 15th, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions organized a training conference on ethnic and religious affairs in Son La province for the year 2025.

Attending the conference were leaders from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; and 75 delegates who are officials and civil servants working on ethnic and religious affairs in communes and wards throughout the province.

At the conference, delegates were informed about the ethnic policy programs being implemented in the province; the professional aspects of state management of beliefs and religions; and guidance on developing content and forms, as well as deadlines for periodic reporting as prescribed.

Through the conference, delegates were equipped with knowledge and skills in ethnic and religious affairs, aiming to improve the effectiveness of implementation in the context of reorganizing commune-level administrative units and implementing a two-tiered government model. At the same time, it addressed and resolved difficulties related to regulations and policies for communes and villages after mergers, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of ethnic and religious affairs in the province.
