On August 8th, a delegation from the Propaganda Department of Hua Phan and Luang Prabang provinces (Lao People's Democratic Republic) visited the Vietnam-Lao Revolutionary Historical Site in Lao Kho I village, Phieng Khoai commune.
The delegation from the Propaganda Department of Hua Phan and Luang Prabang provinces took a commemorative photo at the Vietnam-Laos Revolutionary Historical Site.
The Vietnam-Laos Revolutionary Historical Site in Lao Kho village vividly records the activities and base construction of the Lao-Northern Front and Comrade Kaysone Phomvihane during the period 1948-1950, with the support of Mr. Trang Lao Kho's family and the people of Lao Kho village. It also preserves immense historical values and the close, blood-bonded solidarity in the struggle between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between the people of Son La province and the provinces of Laos in particular.
The delegation offered incense at the Memorial House and visited the exhibition area displaying artifacts that bear witness to the solidarity, close ties, assistance, and sharing between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between the people of Son La province, Lao Kho village, and the provinces of Laos in particular. They also reviewed the tradition of solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, the two States, and the people of the two countries. The delegation expressed their hope that the two Parties and States would continue to preserve and promote this special solidarity and friendship, nurturing the Vietnam-Laos and Laos-Vietnam relationship to remain "evergreen and enduring for generations to come."
