Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tuan Anh, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Police, said: Implementing the 2-level local government model, staff work encountered more difficulties than before... However, with the spirit of solidarity and unity, officers and soldiers in the unit made efforts, innovated, and proactively advised the Board of Directors to unify leadership, direction, management, operation and organization of task implementation, ensuring political security, social order and safety, and building a strong and comprehensive Son La Police force.

From 2020 to present, the unit has advised on thoroughly grasping, deploying, organizing the full, timely and effective implementation of the regulations and directions of the Central Government, the Ministry of Public Security and the province on ensuring security and order (SOT). Proactively research and propose the Provincial Police Department to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to effectively direct the work of protecting national security; deploy mechanisms and policies in crime prevention; promote international cooperation activities on ensuring SOT, with many good, innovative and creative ways, especially in drug prevention. Advise on promulgating and effectively implementing the work of building the movement "All people protect national security"; build and maintain models of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level; promptly and effectively implement the Law on Forces participating in protecting SOT at the grassroots level.

Focus on advising on the development and effective implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on "Promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation" and Resolution No. 12-NQ/DUCA dated July 25, 2022 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on "Continuing to promote the building of the Commune and Town Public Security force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation".

Along with that, the Department also advises on strictly implementing the working regulations of the Provincial Police, especially maintaining regular Provincial Police meetings with a system of documents announcing conclusions, work targets, arising tasks, statistics and reports... Issue and regularly count, count, monitor and evaluate the implementation of targets and tasks assigned by the Board of Directors to the Provincial Police units to ensure progress and quality; monitor and count the tasks assigned by the Ministry and the province.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Minh, Head of the Police Staff Team, shared: Since the beginning of the year, the Team has assisted the unit's leadership in advising the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Police to issue directive documents and effectively organize the implementation of many peak periods of attacking and suppressing crimes; peak periods of drug prevention and control and specialized plans on crime prevention and control. Notably, he has chaired the consultation of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee to issue a system of documents to lead and direct drug prevention and control work in the area; thereby, gradually raising awareness, roles, and responsibilities of all levels and sectors; mobilizing the political system and the entire population to participate in preventing and combating crimes and drug-related evils...
