The 3rd National Youth and Junior Tug-of-War Championship 2025 will take place in Dak Lak province from August 12th to 19th.

The Son La team participated in the tournament.

The competition involved 14 provinces and cities, including: Dong Nai, Gia Lai, Nghe An, Quang Ngai, Hanoi, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Son La, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, and host province Dak Lak. 340 athletes competed in 36 weight categories, with two events: indoor tug-of-war and outdoor tug-of-war.

The Son La team won the gold medal in the women's 380 kg weight category.

The Son La provincial delegation participated in the tournament with 20 athletes who competed enthusiastically, giving their all in thrilling matches and winning 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 3 bronze medals, ranking 6th out of 14 participating provinces and cities.
