The 3rd National Tug of War Championship for Youth and Children in 2025 took place in Dak Lak province from August 12 to 19.

Son La delegation attended the tournament.

The tournament is attended by 14 provinces and cities, including: Dong Nai, Gia Lai, Nghe An, Quang Ngai, Hanoi, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Son La, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City and the host Dak Lak. 340 athletes compete in 36 weight categories, with two competitions: indoor tug of war and outdoor tug of war.

Son La delegation won the gold medal in the women's 380 kg weight class.

Son La province delegation participated in the tournament with 20 athletes who competed enthusiastically, devoted themselves to dramatic matches and won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals, ranking 6th out of 14 participating provinces and cities.
