On August 22nd, the Provincial Cultural and Film Center, in coordination with the Political Department of the Provincial Military Command, organized the opening of a photo exhibition with the theme "80 Years of the Armed Forces of Son La Province - A Mark of Tradition, a Belief in Victory".

The exhibition displays and introduces 80 documentary photographs with rich content, reflecting the 80-year journey of building, fighting, and maturing of the provincial armed forces. The works record the glorious traditions from the early days of participating in the resistance wars against France and the United States, fulfilling international obligations, to the period of force building in peacetime, participating in disaster and disease prevention, building new rural areas, and maintaining local security and defense.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Son La Province (August 26, 1945 – August 26, 2025) and other important political events of the country and the province; contributing to the widespread dissemination of information to cadres, Party members, soldiers of the armed forces and all strata of the people, especially the younger generation, about the glorious traditions, affirming the position, role and great contributions of the armed forces of Son La Province in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, it contributes to educating the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals, the spirit of solidarity, and fostering national pride in each cadre, Party member, citizen and soldier of the armed forces.
The photo exhibition, which runs from August 22nd to August 28th, welcomes locals and tourists alike.
