The photo exhibition includes 150 documents and photos; 20 artifacts are displayed in 2 parts, part I: Historical imprints (from 1895 - 1986) and part II: Son La - Aspiration for development (1986 - present). The book exhibition with the theme "Son La - Legendary land", introduces more than 100 books, with 3 parts: Historical imprints; cultural colors and aspiration for development, recreating important historical imprints in the formation, construction and development of Son La province since its establishment until now. At the same time, affirming and honoring the great contributions of generations of cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the process of construction and development of Son La province.

At the exhibition opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched the "Lifelong Learning Response Week 2025" and the Son La Book Fair 2025. In recent years, Son La province has implemented many programs and projects to promote the lifelong learning movement among all classes of people. The whole province has over 346 thousand copies of books, newspapers and magazines in the provincial library system; each year there are over 63 thousand readers coming to the library and over 235 thousand book and newspaper circulations, over 80 branches and book review stations in schools, agencies and units. The "Intellectual House" model is deployed in groups and villages so that people have a close and accessible reading space.

The 2025 Lifelong Learning Week is associated with the theme: "Learning to develop yourself, mastering knowledge and technology, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country". The Organizing Committee requests that each citizen, agency, unit, school, community and family widely propagate the culture of reading - lifelong learning through the radio system, social networks, billboards, posters, and propaganda stages. Build and promote models of community reading points, "Intellectual Houses", "Community Bookcases", "Family Bookcases", small libraries - in agencies, communes and villages - so that everyone can easily access books and knowledge.
