The 2025 Lifelong Learning Week, themed "Learning to develop oneself, master knowledge and technology, and contribute to building a strong and prosperous nation," urges every citizen, agency, unit, school, community, and family to widely promote reading culture and lifelong learning through radio broadcasts, social media, billboards, posters, and stage performances. It also calls for the development and promotion of community reading centers, "Houses of Wisdom," "Community Bookcases," "Family Bookcases," and small libraries – in offices, communes, and villages – to make books and knowledge easily accessible to everyone. Furthermore, it calls for the mobilization of all social resources and the encouragement of individuals, organizations, and businesses to support library construction, donate books, and sponsor reading technology and materials.
