On the evening of October 8th, at Northwest Square, the Provincial People's Committee held a dress rehearsal for the ceremony commemorating the 130th anniversary of the founding of Son La province (October 10, 1895 - October 10, 2025).

Attending the General Rehearsal were: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; and members of the Organizing Committee for the Anniversary Celebration.

The commemorative program includes a ceremony and an elaborately staged artistic performance themed "The Spirit of Son La Reaching Far with the Nation," featuring many spectacular performances recreating the heroic history of the army and people of Son La in the struggle for national independence and freedom, and in the construction and protection of the Fatherland; and the achievements in socio-economic development, national defense and security of Son La province... The artistic program will conclude with a dance of unity and a circle dance symbolizing the solidarity of all ethnic groups.
The 130th anniversary of the province's founding is a significant political event, a special historical milestone, reflecting Son La's rich history and aspirations for development.

The commemoration ceremony will take place at 8 PM on October 10th, and will be broadcast live on STV channel and the digital platforms of Son La Newspaper and Radio and Television; broadcast live on the Voice of Vietnam radio station; and rebroadcast on television channels of provinces and cities.
