The third political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, Son La province, 2025, launched from February 3, 2025 to May 30, 2025. The Steering Committee of the contest received 464 entries; of which, 233 were magazine works; 128 were print works; 70 were electronic works; 9 were television works; 7 were video and clip works; 17 were radio works.

As a result, 145/464 works qualified to enter the next round for the Jury to judge and award. Based on the results of the judging, the Competition Steering Committee met and unanimously awarded 77 prizes, including: 17 B prizes; 21 C prizes; 36 consolation prizes; 3 thematic prizes for excellent collectives from the Provincial Political School and the oldest and youngest authors. At the same time, 77/145 works were selected to participate in the Political Essay Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, the fifth time, in 2025, organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department reported on the quality assessment of the entries to the contest.
Through the evaluation of the Competition Steering Committee, the entries were diverse, of all types, with new discoveries, innovations, shortcomings and proposed solutions in the spirit of "using positive to repel negative"; "using beauty, eliminating ugliness". The content of the entries was guaranteed to follow the theme orientation; the quality of the entries was improved compared to last year, many entries presented, argued, and highlighted key issues and solutions in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.
