The literary and artistic creation contest on the theme: "Son La: 130 Years of Formation and Development" is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the founding of Son La province (October 10, 1895 - October 10, 2025). This contest, with its wide scope and nationwide scope, aims to create a revolutionary atmosphere, foster confidence and enthusiasm among the people in the leadership of the Party and State, and encourage cadres, Party members, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in Son La to enthusiastically compete to achieve accomplishments in chào mừng the successful Party Congresses at all levels, the 16th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, and the upcoming 14th National Party Congress.

After more than four months since its launch, as of September 20, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the Competition has received a total of 331 entries from 118 authors across nine disciplines in Literature and Arts. The submitted works were meticulously crafted by the authors, created within the designated timeframe, and focused on improving quality, ensuring they met the standards and criteria set by the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel. Many works reflect and celebrate the achievements of the people of Son La province in the cause of national liberation, national construction and defense, and especially the achievements in Son La province's reform process.
