The Military Command of Hua Phan province presented gifts and congratulations to the Military Command of Son La province.
On the occasion of the traditional Vietnamese New Year.

Both sides have informed each other about the highlights of the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, and important events of the two countries in the year; as well as the results of the twinning, coordination, and foreign defense activities between the Military Commands of Sơn La and Huaphanh provinces. In the coming time, the Military Commands of the two provinces will continue to effectively cooperate in protecting border sovereignty and security; strengthen cooperation, exchange information and experience in building localities, maintaining security and order, and social safety in the border areas, contributing to building a stable and comprehensively developing Vietnam-Laos border.

Major General Kham Muang Khot Vong Khun expressed gratitude for the attention, coordination, and assistance from the Son La Provincial Military Command in all aspects of work over the past period. He also expressed confidence that in the future, the Hua Phan Provincial Military Command and the Son La Provincial Military Command will continue to closely coordinate, regularly exchange information, and promote activities to foster the special solidarity, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the Party, State, Army, and People of the two countries. He wished the officers and soldiers of the Son La Provincial Military Command good health and a warm and happy Lunar New Year.
