The delegation was welcomed by leaders of the Provincial Military Command and agencies of the Provincial Military Command.

Both sides have informed each other about the highlights of the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, and important events of the two countries in the year; as well as the results of the twinning, coordination, and foreign defense activities between the Military Commands of Sơn La and Huaphanh provinces. In the coming time, the Military Commands of the two provinces will continue to effectively cooperate in protecting border sovereignty and security; strengthen cooperation, exchange information and experience in building localities, maintaining security and order, and social safety in the border areas, contributing to building a stable and comprehensively developing Vietnam-Laos border.
