Son La province has over 3,900 businesses with a total registered capital of over 70,700 billion VND, mainly operating in the construction, trade, agriculture, and tourism sectors. In particular, implementing the resolutions of the Politburo, the National Assembly, and the Government on the development of the private economy, Son La province has issued an action plan with the goal of having over 5,000 enterprises by 2030, attracting more than 50,000 workers, with an average income of 9-10 million VND/month; improving the quality of operations of private enterprises, striving for this sector to contribute at least 8% to the GRDP and 25% to the total provincial budget revenue each year, with total revenue for the period 2025-2030 reaching at least 9,414 billion VND.
Son La also aims to establish a number of large-scale enterprises with reputable brands both domestically and internationally; build leading enterprises in key industries; and develop sustainable value chains in processing industries, agriculture, services, and tourism with competitive capabilities.
