On January 5th, Mr. Lo Minh Hung chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Preservation and Promotion of Historical Values.Co Noi Crossroads Historical SiteThe purpose is to evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks in 2025 and discuss directions and tasks for 2026.

According to the report at the meeting, in 2025, the Steering Committee focused on leading and directing agencies and units to implement many important tasks in the work of preserving and promoting the value of heritage sites.Co Noi Crossroads National Historical SiteThe departments, agencies, and member units have proactively carried out their assigned tasks, initially achieving positive results.

Public awareness campaigns about its significance,historical valueThe promotion of the historical site has been enhanced through various diverse forms. The content of the book "Co Noi Crossroads - An Immortal Epic" has been widely introduced through mass media, contributing to raising awareness among cadres, Party members, and the people about the revolutionary traditions and the heroic sacrifices of previous generations. Alongside this, the collection of artifacts for display at the historical site continues to receive attention.

To date, the work of land acquisition, compensation, support andland clearanceWithin the scope of the project, which is invested in by the Central Youth Union, the local authorities have completed the handover of the land to the Central Youth Union's Investment Project Management Board to implement the construction of project components according to the plan.

For the project area where Mai Son commune is the investor, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the compensation plan for 5 out of 59 households with a total budget of 1.7 billion VND; the remaining households are continuing to implement the necessary steps according to regulations. At the same time, relevant agencies have invested in the construction of two resettlement sites to provide stable housing for households that have to relocate to make way for the project.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Lo Minh Hung requested that the departments, agencies, and members of the Steering Committee continue to focus on...speed up the processCarry out the assigned tasks; promptly complete and submit to the competent authority for approval the art design and construction project for the exhibition phase 2025–2026 to organize implementation in accordance with regulations. At the same time, request Mai Son commune to urgently expedite land clearance, compensation, support, and resettlement work to ensure the implementation of phase II of the project on schedule and according to plan.
