The "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement consistently receives attention and guidance from the Son La Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee; various departments and agencies; and the enthusiastic and effective participation of the people of all ethnic groups in Son La province.

In implementing the Provincial People's Committee's plan, the provincial departments and agencies have organized and disseminated to all officials, civil servants, employees, and the public the directives and guidelines from the Central Government and the province regarding the implementation of the movement.

The province has actively implemented propaganda work. Agencies, units, and localities have intensified propaganda efforts, linking it with the dissemination of political tasks serving economic, social, and national defense development, such as: Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; the socio-economic development plan; the promotion of building culturally advanced families, villages, hamlets, and agencies/units; the effective implementation of village regulations and community conventions, democratic regulations; and the promotion of building cultural life in residential areas in conjunction with the implementation of the national target program on building new rural areas and achieving urban civilization standards.

In 2025, the "National Unity Movement for Building a Culturally Rich Life," with a focus on building culturally rich villages, neighborhoods, and families, will be widely implemented, bringing about significant changes in preserving and promoting the nation's fine cultural traditions.

The movement to build culturally exemplary families has achieved quite comprehensive results, attracting the attention and participation of the people, and the quality of the movement is increasingly emphasized and improved. Culturally exemplary families are the core, active, and exemplary units in complying with community regulations and customs, maintaining political security, social order and safety, environmental hygiene, and practicing a cultured and civilized lifestyle in public places... 100% of culturally exemplary households do not violate the law; 100% of families meet the standards of a culturally exemplary family, do not use prohibited cultural products, actively eliminate backward customs, have no members involved in social vices, and are exemplary in practicing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals; Culturally exemplary families have actively participated in local movements in their residential areas, contributing significantly to the overall success of the "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement.

The movement to build cultural villages and residential areas has brought about positive changes in both quantity and quality. The political system at the grassroots level has been strengthened, and Party branches, governments, and mass organizations operate effectively. Law and order are upheld, democracy is expanded, community spirit is fostered, and social evils are gradually being pushed back. The people's education level has improved, business practices have changed, and the structure of crops and livestock has been boldly transformed to suit local conditions, applying science and technology to increase labor productivity. Cultural and artistic activities and mass movements have seen positive changes; and the preservation and promotion of national cultural heritage has been emphasized. Through the movement, many cultural centers, health stations, sports fields, inter-village roads, kindergartens, etc., have been built with contributions from the people. The socialization of culture is gradually receiving attention from the grassroots level and has become an important factor in promoting socio-economic development, thereby continuously improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

The movement to build cultural units has also become more organized, with units regularly focusing on implementing democratic regulations, building a green, clean, and beautiful environment, promoting the role of Party organizations and mass organizations within the units, and actively registering to build cultural families and cultural agencies/units.

In the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh," the mass sports movement in the province has developed both in quality and quantity, attracting a large number of people to participate. Many diverse forms of sports training, suitable for different age groups, demographics, and professions, have been widely popularized, such as: health-promoting exercises and walking for the elderly; martial arts training for youth; football, volleyball, and badminton in villages, hamlets, sub-districts, agencies, schools, and units. In particular, traditional ethnic sports such as stick pushing, crossbow shooting, ball throwing, and tug-of-war have been emphasized and effectively preserved and promoted by the people of the province's ethnic groups.

In addition, the "National Unity for Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" campaign; the "Learning and Creative Labor" movement; and the movement to build good people and good deeds, and advanced models have also seen significant progress. Through these movements, many exemplary individuals and collectives have emerged in various fields of economic production, work, and social activities... many examples of good people and good deeds, many cadres, soldiers, and agencies with many achievements in work and creative labor have been commended and rewarded at numerous provincial, district, and sectoral conferences, promptly encouraging outstanding individuals and collectives and replicating advanced models throughout the province.

With outstanding achievements in 2025, Son La province has demonstrated its determination in building a healthy cultural environment, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the fine cultural traditions of the nation; building a civilized lifestyle, gradually eliminating backward customs and superstitions, promoting socio-economic development, ensuring political security, social order and safety, and strengthening the local political system.
