On December 17, 2018, the School of Training and Fostering Information and Communication Management Staff - Ministry of Information and Communication in coordination with the Department of Information and Communication of Son La province organized a training course to improve state management capacity on foreign information.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Van Long - Vice Principal of the School of Training and Fostering Information and Communications Management Staff; Nguyen Dac Tinh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications and trainees who are leaders, officers, and specialists working in foreign information of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Information and Communications; Department of Foreign Affairs; Information Center - Provincial People's Committee Office. The training course aims to improve professional capacity, expertise, and professional skills to perform well the tasks and meet the requirements of diplomacy; equip and update general knowledge about the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws in state management activities on foreign information.
At the training class, students were taught by journalist Le Nghiem - former Director of the Authority of External Information (Ministry of Information and Communications) on topics including: Foreign information work in the innovation period; Vietnam - Laos friendly relationship; External information work with Laos. In addition, students are also informed about the international situation and foreign affairs activities of our Party and State; Press relations and communication skills with the press; Guide agencies and units to plan external information work...
Upon successful completion of the training course, qualified trainees will be awarded a certificate by the Information and Communications Management Training and Development School.
