The plum blossom season usually lasts from the end of December to the end of February. During this time, Moc Chau experiences cool weather with light morning mist, making it ideal for sightseeing and photography.
Many areas such as Na Ka Valley (Thao Nguyen Ward), Mu Nau Valley (Moc Chau Ward), Pa Khen residential area, Pa Phach village, etc., are familiar destinations for tourists every plum blossom season. The plum orchards, blooming white and spreading across the hillsides, are easily accessible and convenient for sightseeing.

Many plum orchards in Moc Chau not only welcome visitors but also offer additional services such as renting traditional H'Mong costumes in various designs, and providing photography and videography services upon request. Entrance fees to plum orchards currently range from 40,000 to 50,000 VND per person, depending on the location and time of visit.
Besides admiring the flowers, visiting Moc Chau during this season also offers tourists the opportunity to enjoy highland cuisine with specialties such as stir-fried veal, stream fish, nam pia (a type of stew), Moc Chau salmon, fresh milk and dairy products, etc. Many homestays in the villages are also chosen by tourists to experience a living space close to nature.
