Conference summarizing the activities of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35 in 2025.

Attending the conference were: Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Thao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35; Mr. Ha Trung Chien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and other members of the Steering Committee.

In 2025, after implementing the two-tiered local government model, Party committees established and strengthened the Steering Committee and the 35 Working Committee, promptly and effectively carrying out the work of monitoring public opinion and social sentiment; sharing and disseminating positive information, good examples, and good deeds; posting news articles, participating in commentary, and combating and refuting false, distorted, and untrue information on the internet according to the direction and guidance of the Central Government and the province.

Media outlets closely adhere to their political mission, coordinate effectively, open special pages and sections, and diversify information formats; they publish and broadcast numerous news articles, reports, and features to promote and refute false and biased information, as well as distorted narratives, on complex and sensitive issues in the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the province's socio-economic development, national defense and security, and foreign affairs programs and projects.

The provincial police chief delivered a speech at the conference.

The coordination efforts of several agencies and units that have recently taken on new functions and tasks after mergers or cessation of operations have proactively advised, directed, and coordinated the implementation of tasks without interruption in the dissemination of positive information and resolutely combating fake news, false and harmful information, and erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the press, media, and cyberspace. Emphasis has been placed on promoting positive information dissemination, preventing, combating, and addressing harmful information and erroneous and hostile viewpoints before, during, and after Party congresses at all levels, the 16th Son La Provincial Party Congress (2025-2030 term), and leading up to the 14th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Lo Minh Hung suggested that in 2026, members of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels should continue to advise Party committees on leading and directing the effective implementation of resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Committee and the province on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation. This includes focusing on strengthening propaganda, innovating and improving the quality of political and ideological education, fostering revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles for cadres, Party members, and the younger generation; promoting the dissemination of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, strategic resolutions of the Central Committee, and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Strengthening internal political security and managing cadres and Party members in their use of the internet and social media is also crucial. Promptly detect and strictly handle violations and the misuse of social media to spread malicious, harmful, and distorted information.

Strengthening the dissemination of positive information, preventing, combating, refuting, and addressing harmful and toxic information, false and hostile viewpoints before, during, and after Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party; strengthening the Party's leadership in propaganda, mobilization, prevention, combating, and suppressing illegal organizations, groups, and new religious phenomena in the province...

The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee presented certificates of commendation to the collectives and authors.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to two authors/groups of authors who won the C prize in the 5th Political Commentary Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation, 2025, and to one collective for outstanding achievements in advising on the organization and implementation of the 3rd Political Commentary Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in Son La province, 2025.
