The 14th National Congress of the Party is a momentous political event with strategic significance for formulating the country's development policies and guidelines for the new period. Therefore, hostile, reactionary, and politically opportunistic forces are intensifying their subversive activities with increasingly sophisticated methods, especially in cyberspace. In this context, protecting the Party's ideological foundation is not only about refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints, but also about ensuring that the Party's major policies and decisions are disseminated correctly and positively in social life; creating a solid ideological foundation for the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

As the standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department has advised and directed the synchronized implementation of many solutions to strengthen the protection of the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation. The focus is on building and consolidating the organizational structure, forces, and coordination mechanisms from the provincial level to the grassroots, ensuring unity and smooth implementation. Accordingly, subordinate Party Committees and Party Committees at the commune and ward levels have established Steering Committee 35 and Working Committee 35; built core forces, and formed appropriate communication channels. Training and skill development for cadres working to protect the Party's ideological foundation has been emphasized, contributing to raising awareness, responsibility, and capacity for combating negative influences in cyberspace.

Comrade Nguyen Duy Luong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, stated: The Department has taken the lead in closely coordinating with press agencies, police and military forces, functional agencies, and a network of social opinion collaborators and core forces on the internet to guide information, promptly provide official sources of information, and spread positive values. Pages, fan pages, Zalo groups, Facebook, and websites of agencies and units regularly post content promoting the Party and State's policies and important political and historical events. During the peak period of preparation for the 14th Party Congress, the monitoring, analysis, and forecasting of public opinion were carried out regularly, thereby promptly detecting and handling false and distorted information related to the Congress, personnel, documents, and major Party policies, preventing any passive or unexpected situations.

From 2025 to the present, the entire province has published nearly 650 news articles, videos, and posters on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, the outstanding achievements of the Party and the country in the past term, and development orientations in the new period on the electronic information portals of communes, wards, agencies, and units; broadcast 854 times through the public address systems of villages, sub-districts, residential groups, and neighborhood groups; and created propaganda materials on digital platforms (Fanpage “Commune/Ward Information”, Zalo group “Secretary, Sub-district Head of Village/Sub-district”; Zalo group “Agencies, Units, Collaborators of the 35 Working Committee”; VNeID application). In addition, propaganda content has been integrated into congresses, branch meetings, and thematic conferences, ensuring continuity and widespread dissemination.

In particular, in the struggle to refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints before the 14th Party Congress, the press agencies in the province consistently upheld their principles and objectives, actively and proactively propagating and defending the Party's ideological foundation; closely following the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee 35, developing propaganda plans that closely match the requirements of the task; ensuring the maintenance and expansion of special pages and sections in publications, especially leveraging the strengths of online newspapers, ensuring the fastest possible distribution, addressing relevant issues, and achieving effective propaganda.

Mr. Pham Van Hoa, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of Group 12, Chieng Le Ward, To Hieu Commune, said: The Party Branch identifies political and ideological education for cadres and Party members as a key task. Leading up to the 14th Party Congress, the content of propaganda regarding the Party's policies and guidelines, especially official information related to the Congress, is regularly integrated into meetings; at the same time, cadres and Party members are encouraged to take responsibility, proactively spread positive information on the internet, and promptly report any deviations in awareness within the community.

The synchronized implementation of public opinion monitoring and guidance has created a high degree of unity within the political system. This is a solid foundation for the Party Committee and people of the province to promote the spirit of solidarity and innovation, confidently moving towards the 14th National Congress with the aspiration for a prosperous and happy nation.
