The 2026 Tourism Program has the theme “Moc Chau - A Promise in the Flower Season"with a series of unique activities: art program"Enchanted by the seasons of flowers"...a colorful street parade of decorated floats, an art photography contest, and smart travel experiences via QR codes...

The opening night began impressively with a parade of vehicles, symbolizing Moc Chau's four seasons of blooming flowers: the inviting peach blossom, the pristine plum blossom, the shy bauhinia, the elegant orchid, the nostalgic mat flower, the mysterious magnolia, the memorable mustard flower, the victorious reed flower, the promising sunflower, and the friendly beauty queen.

At the ceremony, the decision to award Moc Chau the "World's Leading Regional Natural Destination" award was announced. This is the third consecutive year that Moc Chau has been honored with this award.

The artistic program, performed by artists from Son La province and local actors, was elaborately and uniquely staged, with content deeply reflecting the festival's theme. The program consisted of two main parts:"Moc Chau is ablaze with colorful flowers"andMoc ChauButthe love story of BanThrough singing and dancing performances, the program vividly recreated scenes rich in cultural identity such as the Plum Harvesting Festival, the Stone Worship Festival, the Rain Prayer Festival, the Gau Tao Festival, and the folk game of throwing pao; while also depicting the touching love story of Ban and Khum. All of this blended into a vibrant spring atmosphere, filled with flowers, lush crops, and abundance, portraying a Moc Chau full of life, constantly moving, dynamic, modern, yet deeply rooted in culture and full of charm.

The Green Plateau – a blessed land endowed by nature with a mild climate and beautiful scenery throughout all four seasons. Here, the pristine white of plum blossoms, the gentle pink of peach blossoms, the vibrant yellow of mustard flowers, and the unspoiled, pure beauty of bauhinia flowers converge, all blooming together to weave a colorful tapestry amidst the vast Northwest mountains. This program is not merely a festival promoting the pure beauty of nature, but also the most concrete and practical action of the Party Committee, government, and people of Moc Chau to compete in achieving accomplishments to celebrate major national events. Through this event, Moc Chau affirms its new strength and position as a national tourist area undergoing a strong transformation towards a synchronized, professional, and sustainable direction, rising alongside the nation and its people.
