Attending the opening ceremony were: Ms. Tong Thi Phong, former member of the Politburo and former Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Hoang Van Chat, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration; former provincial leaders from various periods; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; representatives from communes and wards in the province; Famtrip delegations; the business community; and a large number of local people and tourists.

The year 2026 holds special significance, on the eve of the momentous political event of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and leading up to the elections of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels. The 2026 Tourism Program, themed "Moc Chau - A Promise of the Flower Season," goes beyond simply promoting the pure beauty of nature; it represents a concrete and practical action by the Party Committee, government, and people of Moc Chau to strive for achievements in chào mừng the country's major events. Through this event, Moc Chau affirms its new strength and position as a national tourism area undergoing a strong transformation towards a synchronized, professional, and sustainable direction, rising together with the nation and its people.

The 2026 Tourism Program, themed “Moc Chau – A Promise of the Flower Season,” kicked off with a series of spectacular activities, from the art program “Enchanted by the Flower Seasons,” a colorful street parade of flower floats, to art photography competitions and smart tourism experiences via QR codes… Through these events, visitors will experience the natural beauty and culture of the ethnic groups; affirming Moc Chau's tourism environment as “Safe - Friendly - Distinctive - Attractive.” Simultaneously, it invites strategic investors, Famtrip groups, and international tourists to Moc Chau.

Immediately following the opening of the 2026 Tourism Program, the award ceremony for "Moc Chau - The World's Leading Regional Nature Destination" took place. This award is not only a source of pride for the Moc Chau plateau itself, but also a well-deserved recognition of the persistent efforts of the Party Committee, government, and people of Son La province in preserving nature, promoting cultural identity, and developing sustainable tourism. It also vividly demonstrates the unique appeal of Moc Chau – a place where the pristine beauty of the mountains and forests, the fresh climate, the seasonal blossoms, and the friendliness and hospitality of the highland people converge. To date, the Moc Chau National Tourist Area has been awarded the title "Moc Chau – Asia's Leading Regional Nature Destination" four times and has been honored with the "World's Leading Regional Nature Destination" award three times, affirming its position on the regional and global tourism map.
