The series of activities involved more than 353 outstanding students, "young scientists" representing the intellect and creative aspirations of the younger generation in Son La province.
The competition is open to students from grades 8 to 12. The competition is divided into four fields: Social and Behavioral Sciences; Mathematics - Informatics - Embedded Systems; Physics - Engineering; and Chemistry - Biology - Environment.
These activities aim to encourage students and trainees to conduct scientific and technical research, and apply their learned knowledge to solve practical problems. This contributes to the innovation of teaching and assessment methods; promotes integrated science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education; and improves the quality of teaching in educational institutions.

This is also an opportunity for students in Son La province to showcase the results of their scientific and technical research; to strengthen cultural and educational exchange between localities and to promote international integration. At the same time, it's a beneficial science activity that fosters a passion for science, encourages innovation and creativity among students, and enhances their ability to apply knowledge from various subjects to solve practical problems.
At the same time, promote the application of STEM education methods in appropriate subjects, contributing to promoting innovation in teaching methods and forms of teaching organization to develop students' qualities and competencies, and effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program in Son La province.
The series of activities also contributes to raising awareness among administrators, teachers, students, parents, and the community about innovative educational activities in secondary schools. It provides an opportunity for exchange, sharing of learning experiences, and implementation of STEM education, aiming to identify, honor, and disseminate exemplary groups and individuals in schools.
The series of activities will continue until January 18th.
