As part of the 2026 Moc Chau Tourism Program "Moc Chau - A Promise of the Flower Season," on January 18th, Moc Chau ward organized a live fashion show competition titled "Moc Chau - A Brilliant Flower Season," attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

The competition featured 33 individual contestants and 8 team participants from preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area.
Against the backdrop of the picturesque natural scenery of Moc Chau plateau, the contestants showcased elaborately designed ethnic costumes, inspired by the beauty of cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, bauhinia flowers, mustard flowers, apricot blossoms, wild sunflowers, and more.
Traditional, eco-friendly materials are skillfully combined to create innovative designs that truly reflect the spirit of the highlands.

In the individual competition, each contestant has 3–7 minutes to perform; the group competition lasts 5–10 minutes.
More than just a fashion showcase, the competition is also an opportunity for students to express their pride in the culture, people, and nature of Moc Chau to friends and tourists from both within and outside the country.

Mr. Do Tri Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Moc Chau Ward, said that the competition was organized to spread the image of Moc Chau's flower season, contributing to promoting the unique natural and cultural beauty of Moc Chau National Tourist Area – a world-leading natural destination.

Hoang Hai Ngoc, a student from Moc Ly High School, shared: “This is my first time participating in a live fashion show, and I am very proud to be able to showcase the beauty of Moc Chau through traditional ethnic costumes and the blooming flowers of my hometown.”

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 3 third prizes for each individual and team category.
