The "Spring Border Guard Program: Warming the Hearts of the Local People" is an annual activity organized by the Muong Lan Border Guard Station in coordination with other organizations to encourage and support disadvantaged families, create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere before the New Year, and further strengthen the bond between the military and the people in the border region.
At the same time, it is an expression of gratitude to the people of ethnic minorities in the border areas who have worked alongside border guards and local Party committees and authorities in managing, protecting, and maintaining political security, order, and social safety in the border areas of Son La province.

Within the framework of the program, meaningful and practical activities took place, such as: providing free medical examinations and dispensing medicine to local people; visiting and extending New Year greetings to local Party committees, authorities, village elders, community leaders, influential people, and those participating in border protection, demonstrating the principle of mutual support and compassion, ensuring that no one is left behind.
At the event, FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company, the Son La Warm Spring Volunteer Group, the Youth Union of the Department of Health, and the Binh Yen Pharmacy System donated 180 gift packages to disadvantaged families and 270 gift packages to students in the area.
The program also awarded 11 gifts to students participating in the "Helping Children Go to School" program; donated 67 solar-powered lamps; inaugurated a technology classroom at the Muong Lan Border Guard Post; provided free health check-ups, consultations, medication, and haircuts. The total value of the program exceeded 600 million VND.
