Tourists experience strawberry picking at LamSon Farm, Moc Son Ward.
Arriving at LamSon Farm in Moc Son ward during the strawberry harvest season, we were truly impressed by the rows of strawberries planted in neat lines, stretching as far as the eye could see. Under the lush green foliage, clusters of ripe, bright red strawberries lay close together, plump, glossy, and very eye-catching. The main variety is the Japanese Hana strawberry, famous for its delicate aroma and rich sweetness. By over 8 am, quite a few tourists had arrived to visit, take photos, and personally select and pick ripe red strawberries. Laughter, chatter, and excited exclamations of visitors finding "giant" strawberries filled the garden with excitement.

While enthusiastically selecting ripe strawberries to put into her basket, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha, a tourist from Hanoi, excitedly said: "This is my second time in Moc Chau, but my first time experiencing strawberry picking in a garden. The feeling of personally choosing each large, ripe red strawberry and enjoying them right in the garden makes me feel very relaxed. The strawberries here are very fresh, sweet, and crunchy, completely different from those bought at the supermarket. With an average price of about 300,000 VND/kg for these garden-picked strawberries, I think it's completely worth the quality and the experience."
Enthusiastically guiding visitors in selecting and picking strawberries, Mr. Bui Xuan Quan, manager of LamSon Farm, shared: "Currently, the farm has nearly 2 hectares of strawberry cultivation. To best serve tourists, we focus on care, ensuring the garden is always clean and airy. The strawberries are grown organically, minimizing the use of chemical pesticides so that visitors can safely pick and taste them right in the garden. Currently, on average, the garden welcomes 200-500 visitors each weekend, providing a stable income."

Leaving LamSon Farm, we continued our journey to Loi Tuoi Farm in Van Son Ward. While LamSon Farm impressed with its professionalism and neatly arranged strawberry rows, Loi Tuoi Farm offered a dreamy and charming atmosphere with its combination of strawberry gardens and canola flower fields.
Here, alongside the strawberry fields in full bloom, the owner has skillfully intercropped patches of white and yellow rapeseed flowers. The scene creates a stunning natural landscape, both rustic and romantic. Visitors here not only satisfy their taste buds with sweet, delicious strawberries but also enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.

To retain tourists and build a sustainable brand, safe agricultural production is always a top priority for farm owners. Discussing the strawberry cultivation process, Mr. Nguyen Thach Tung Linh, Director of Agrico Fresh Strawberry Co., Ltd., shared: "Tourists who pick strawberries in the garden want to eat them immediately, so if the strawberries are not safe, it will directly affect the health of tourists and the reputation of Moc Chau strawberries. Therefore, the production process at the farm is carried out organically, minimizing the use of chemicals, ensuring both food safety and environmental protection; allowing tourists to enjoy a spacious, fresh, relaxing, and nature-friendly environment."
Besides picking strawberries, many young people also take the opportunity to check in. The red of the strawberries, the green of the leaves, and the golden sunlight of the plateau blend together to create stunning photos that make everyone want to visit. Ms. Nguyen Anh Tuyet, from Can Tho city, shared: "Through recommendations and beautiful images of strawberry gardens on social media, I was motivated to come to Moc Chau. Here, my family and I can freely experience the feeling of picking ripe strawberries ourselves, enjoying the slightly sour, sweet, and juicy taste of the strawberries, and taking beautiful photos. Besides enjoying strawberries at the garden, I also bought strawberries to take home as gifts."

The Moc Chau plateau currently has over 150 hectares of strawberry cultivation, mainly in the Moc Son, Moc Chau, Thao Nguyen, and Van Son wards. Thanks to the application of science and technology in production, Moc Chau strawberries yield large, juicy, bright red fruits with a sweet and refreshing taste; the average yield is over 15 tons/ha, with a selling price of 200,000 - 400,000 VND/kg depending on the variety; on average, each hectare of strawberries generates an income of approximately 2 billion VND. Along with the value from selling strawberries, the strawberry-picking tourism model is developing, bringing a double benefit: increasing the value of agricultural products, improving farmers' income, and contributing to the development of local tourism.
