Over two days (January 31st and February 1st), at Hua Lanh village, Sop Cop commune, Nam Lanh Border Guard Station coordinated the "Spring Border Guard Program: Warming the Hearts of the Villagers" for the people of Hua Lanh and Huoi Hia villages.

Leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts to the two villages of Hua Lanh and Huoi Hia.
Also at the program, the Nam Lanh Border Guard Station and other units presented portraits of President Ho Chi Minh and the national flag to the people of the two villages; gave 125 gift packages to disadvantaged households, each worth 1.7 million VND, including rice, warm blankets, and essential food; gave 300 gift packages to students, each worth 450,000 VND; organized meals for the children at Hua Lanh school; and wrapped more than 500 sticky rice cakes to give to the people of the two villages. The total value of the program was over 520 million VND.

The "Spring Border Guard Program: Warming the Hearts of the Local People" is an annual activity organized by the Nam Lanh Border Guard Station in coordination with other organizations. It aims to encourage and support disadvantaged families, enabling them to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) more fully and warmly, while also creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere before the new year, further strengthening the bond between the military and the people in the border region.
