The first Spring Fair - 2026 officially opens with the theme "Connecting Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring."
The opening ceremony of the fair was also attended by representatives from ministries, departments, and provinces and cities nationwide. Representing Son La province at the fair was Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The first Spring Fair - 2026, taking place from February 2nd to 13th, is a national-scale economic and cultural event, bringing together thousands of domestic and international organizations and businesses. The fair features approximately 3,000 booths covering various sectors such as agricultural products, processed foods, handicrafts, consumer goods, and supporting industrial products.
This is not only a place to promote Vietnamese products and brands, but also a vibrant national cultural space, creating an atmosphere of excitement for people during the traditional Lunar New Year. The fair is organized as a spring journey across Vietnam, where economic, cultural, and creative values converge.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates pressed the button to officially open the Fair.
The fair features eight prominent content zones, including: the themed local zone - Ho Chi Minh City; the "Springtime in the Homeland - Products from Around the World" zone; the "Vietnamese Agricultural Products - Spreading the Colors of Spring" zone; the "Prosperous Spring" zone; the exhibition of value chains in the textile, footwear, wood and handicraft industries (VIVC 2026); the "Tet Reunion" space; the "Essence of Vietnamese Culture" zone; and the outdoor zone "The Flavor of Spring Connecting".

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Spring Fair.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: The first Spring Fair in 2026 is a promising "launching pad" that will ignite the domestic consumer market, a new "impetus" to inspire enthusiasm for labor, production and business, and a strategic "lever" to create breakthrough development right from the beginning of 2026.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure the best and most prioritized conditions for the successful organization of the Fair, considering this Fair as a strategic "stepping stone" to standardize the national fair model according to international standards; and to make the brand of Vietnam's international fair a prestigious "marker" on the regional and global trade map by 2026.
Ministries, departments, agencies, units, and localities should proactively shift their thinking from "displaying goods" to "promoting value." They should accelerate the application of digital technology in connecting supply and demand, promoting regional specialties and OCOP products, bringing Vietnamese brands closer to international friends. At the same time, they should actively organize programs and activities for cultural exchange and unique musical experiences, creating an atmosphere of excitement for the people and serving the people.
