In response to social welfare activities directed towards the border and islands of the Fatherland, the Trade Union of Cau Giay Ward organized a delegation to participate in the "Compassionate Tet in Border Areas - Warming the Hearts of Border Guards in the People" program in 2026 at Phieng Pan Border Guard Station, Son La Province.
The program is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and responsibility of the trade union in caring for the Tet holiday for people in border communes that still face many difficulties, while also encouraging and motivating border guards who are working day and night to protect national sovereignty and border security.

As part of the program, the Cau Giay Ward Trade Union, in coordination with various organizations and benefactors, presented many practical gifts to disadvantaged families, policy beneficiary families, and underprivileged students in the border commune, including: 10 goats along with essential goods, warm clothes, sweets, and necessary household items.
Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they contain the affection, care, and spirit of mutual support from the union members of Cau Giay ward towards the people in the mountainous areas.
The delegation also visited, presented gifts to, and interacted with officers and soldiers of the Phiêng Pằn Border Guard Station, expressing deep gratitude for the silent contributions and sacrifices of the border guard force in managing and firmly protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining security and order in the border area, and supporting the people in socio-economic development.

Through this activity, the Cau Giay Ward Trade Union continues to uphold the tradition of "mutual support," the spirit of solidarity and compassion; contributing to spreading the positive image of the Hanoi Trade Union in community activities, for remote areas and border regions still facing many difficulties. This is also an opportunity to educate union members and workers about patriotism, social responsibility, and appreciation for the contributions of the armed forces on the front lines of the Fatherland.
