The villages of Hong Hua, Cang Ty, and Buoc Quang currently have 231 households with 1,131 inhabitants, all of whom are H'Mong and Thai ethnic minorities.
For many years, transportation for residents and students in the area has been difficult, especially during the rainy season when the Hong Hua stream rises and flows rapidly.
In response to this situation, the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and sponsoring units to survey and construct a bridge across the stream.
Construction began in December 2025 and is scheduled for completion in early 2026. The bridge is designed to be sturdy, 2.5 meters high, 12 meters long, 4 meters wide, and capable of supporting a load of 25 tons. The total construction cost is nearly 700 million VND.
