Moc Chau plum blossoms typically bloom from the end of January to mid-February, depending on the weather conditions each year. At that time, the entire plateau seems to light up in a vast expanse of white. From the plum valleys of Mu Nau, Na Ka, Cho Long... the plum orchards burst into bloom one after another. The branches are completely covered with flowers, leaving no leaves. This white color is not dazzling or bright, but gentle, delicate, and evokes a sense of peace and purity rarely found elsewhere.

We visited the plum orchard of Mr. Nguyen Van Thang's family, located about 5 km from the center of Moc Chau ward. The orchard is situated in the Mu Nau plum valley, covering approximately 200 hectares at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters, with many plum trees aged 30-40 years. Mr. Thang said that this year's favorable weather has resulted in early and fairly uniform plum blossoms. For over a month now, many orchards have been at their most beautiful, attracting numerous visitors from Hanoi, the lowland provinces, and even international tourists.

Currently, most plum orchards are open to visitors for sightseeing and photography at a price of around 40,000 VND per person, with no time limit. Some orchards also combine this with selling local specialties and renting traditional ethnic costumes, offering visitors a richer experience.
