On February 8th, the Son La Provincial Federation of Labor (LĐLĐ) organized the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program for union members, workers, and laborers in the Moc Chau area.

Attending the program were Comrade Tong Thi Phong – Former Member of the Political Bureau, Former Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; and Comrade Vu Anh Duc – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the event, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded 2,550 e-vouchers, worth nearly 1.3 billion VND, to union members and workers. Additionally, it donated 1,112 gift packages, worth over 1.1 billion VND, to the Son La Provincial Confederation of Labor for distribution to union members and workers.

Leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Son La Provincial Confederation of Labor presented 80 gifts to union members facing difficult circumstances or suffering from serious illnesses at companies and businesses in Thao Nguyen ward, Moc Chau district.

On the same day, the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program was also held at the Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company - Moc Chau Branch. Here, leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Son La Provincial Confederation of Labor presented 20 gifts to union members facing difficulties, work accidents, and occupational diseases.

Mr. Soi Ngoc Cuong, Chairman of the Son La Provincial Labor Union, emphasized: “Although the gifts are not of great value, they contain the sincere concern of the Labor Union organization. This is a token of gratitude for union members and workers in difficult circumstances every time Tet comes around. The Labor Union will always stand by and share so that everyone can have a more fulfilling Tet.”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh, a worker at Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company – Moc Chau Branch, shared: “Receiving care and gifts during Tet makes us very happy and warm-hearted. Everyone is excited. Everyone is determined to work even better in the new year.”

Ms. Ngo Thi Xuan, an employee at Thao Nguyen Resort, a subsidiary of Moc Chau Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, emotionally shared: “This is the first time I have received Tet gifts from the Trade Union. The financial support came at the right time, helping me to prepare and celebrate Tet more fully.”

The program concluded in a lively and warm atmosphere. The bond of shared feelings between the Trade Union and the workers was further strengthened.
