Following the directives of the Son La Provincial People's Committee on ensuring political security and social order before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Son La Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proactively issued directives to tourist areas, attractions, and tourism service businesses in the province to actively prepare the necessary conditions to ensure safe, attentive, and civilized service for tourists during the Tet holiday.

Accordingly, the Son La Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proactively coordinated with localities and units to strengthen the work of beautifying the landscape, cleaning the environment, ensuring aesthetics and creating a green, clean and beautiful space to serve tourists.

Many tourist areas and attractions in Son La province have focused on investing in decorating landscapes, creating spring-themed miniature scenes, and offering experiential spaces linked to the traditional cultural identity of Son La's ethnic groups, creating highlights to attract tourists in the early days of the new year.

In addition, tourism infrastructure such as internal transportation, parking lots, public restrooms, signage, and lighting are reviewed, repaired, and supplemented promptly to ensure safety and convenience for tourists.

Accommodation establishments, restaurants, and tourism service providers should proactively prepare for Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations; strictly comply with regulations on business operations, food safety, and fire prevention; display and sell at the correct prices; improve service quality and maintain a civilized and courteous attitude, contributing to building a friendly, safe, and attractive image of Son La tourism.

At the same time, we will promote civilized lifestyles, environmental protection, and the preservation of cultural identity; deploy personnel to be on duty during Tet, strengthen inspection and supervision, and promptly handle any arising situations to ensure the safety of tourists.

Besides preparing infrastructure and services, the Son La Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with local authorities, organized many cultural, sports, and tourism activities to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Art performances, traditional cultural experiences, and spring festivals at tourist areas and attractions contribute to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of the people and tourists, while promoting the tourism potential and strengths of Son La.

With proactive and decisive leadership and the active participation of localities, tourism businesses, tourist areas, attractions, and tourism service establishments in Son La province, preparations are underway to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in a safe, civilized, and friendly atmosphere. This will contribute to better serving the tourism and spring celebration needs of the people and tourists, creating momentum for the development of Son La's tourism industry from the very first days of the new year.
