At the commune level, all 75 communes and wards have completed the establishment of commune-level election committees, with over 1,100 members; 451 election boards for commune/ward People's Council representatives and 1,580 polling stations, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding timing, structure, and composition.

In the coming period, the Son La Department of Internal Affairs will continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Election Committee to organize two training conferences on election work for all levels, election committees, and polling stations, expected to be completed in February 2026.
