The Provincial Border Guard Command has developed a combat readiness plan to protect the election; coordinated and collaborated with relevant units, agencies, and localities in developing and implementing border protection plans; and developed plans to protect key targets and facilities, Party and government offices, polling stations, and voter registration locations. Border guard posts have coordinated with local authorities to post voter registration lists, inspect election facilities, and simultaneously educate and encourage the public to raise their awareness and actively participate in the election.
In remote and disadvantaged areas, border guards have directly gone to each village to review and assist in compiling voter lists, ensuring absolute accuracy. Propaganda work has been carried out flexibly through various forms such as mobile loudspeakers, village meetings, or "door-to-door" visits to help people understand their rights and civic duties.
The units selected grassroots mobilization officers who were knowledgeable about the local area, experienced in mass mobilization work, and proactively went to the grassroots level to implement the "four together" approach to disseminate information about election regulations in an easy-to-understand and memorable way to the people. At the same time, they promoted the role of Party members at border guard posts by participating in activities at village Party branches and being responsible for households in border areas to educate the people and ensure they understand and implement the election-related content effectively. From the beginning of the year until now, the units have organized 65 election propaganda sessions for over 10,000 people in high-altitude border villages; and conducted 41 mobile propaganda sessions totaling 82 hours.

To create a competitive spirit throughout the unit, the Provincial Border Guard Command launched a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate the election. Officers and soldiers of all units are striving to achieve the highest possible results to welcome election day, actively performing their duties in organizing, ensuring, serving, and protecting the safety of the election; closely monitoring the local situation, public opinion, and the thoughts and aspirations of the people in the border areas; building peaceful border areas; and ensuring political security and social order in all directions and fronts.
In addition, the Party Committee and the Command of the Provincial Border Guard Force have closely coordinated with the Party committees and local authorities in border areas in preparing Border Guard personnel to run for election as representatives to the People's Councils at all levels, ensuring democracy, strict adherence to the law, and proper procedures. As a result, one officer has been nominated to run for election to the Provincial People's Council. They have also coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees in localities to organize conferences to gather feedback and assess the trustworthiness of Border Guard officers in their residential areas; and have posted voter and candidate lists at polling stations in accordance with regulations.
At this time, along the border, the image of soldiers in green uniforms, along with local Party committees and authorities, preparing for the election, has created confidence and enthusiasm among the people. It is believed that with the proactive and responsible efforts of the provincial Border Guard force, they will make a significant contribution to ensuring that the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term takes place safely, legally, and successfully, truly becoming a festival for the entire nation.
