Tourism revenue is estimated at 360 billion VND, creating momentum for the locality to aim for 6 million visitors in 2026.
This Lunar New Year, Son La is considered an ideal destination in the Northwest region, with favorable weather and beautiful scenery featuring countless flowers in vibrant colors.
According to statistics, during the 9-day Tet holiday, the entire province welcomed nearly 300,000 visitors to its tourist areas and attractions, an increase of over 20% compared to the same period last year. Of these, nearly 1,300 were international visitors, a 50% increase; the remainder were domestic visitors (over 298,000), also an increase of nearly 20% compared to the same period last year.
