In 2025, Moc Chau National Tourist Area will continue to be honored for the third time by the World Travel Awards (WTA) as the "World's Leading Regional Nature Destination" and for the fourth consecutive year as the "Asia's Leading Regional Nature Destination". This impressive achievement promises to bring new breakthroughs to the tourist area in attracting tourists and strongly promoting the image of Moc Chau to domestic and international tourists. Tourist areas and attractions here are constantly innovating and upgrading their products and services, enhancing the experience to attract tourists, create competitiveness, and aim for sustainable development.
As a highlight in the Moc Chau National Tourist Area, Moc Chau Island, with its comprehensive services including sightseeing, experiences, relaxation, entertainment, and event organization, has made thorough preparations. Mr. Hoang Manh Duy, Deputy Director of Moc Chau Island Tourist Area, stated: "For the upcoming holiday, we are introducing new and outstanding activities, such as engaging experiential workshops, handmade crafts, conical hat painting, keychain making, etc., creating activities that connect with tourists and help them understand and appreciate the people and land of Moc Chau more deeply. Our goal is for visitors to have an emotional journey, full of interesting and meaningful experiences, meeting the needs of customers of all ages when they come to Moc Chau Island."

In the Quỳnh Nhai, Mường Chiên, and Mường Giôn lake areas, as well as the Ngọc Chiến and Tà Xùa highlands, tourist areas and accommodations are stepping up preparations to welcome visitors during the holiday season. Mr. Nguyễn Thăng Phúc, owner of Mùa Homestay Tà Xùa, said: “We have 16 rooms with a capacity of 40 guests per stay. Compared to previous years, the number of advance bookings has decreased slightly, but we are still proactively preparing well in terms of facilities, accommodations, and food safety to best serve tourists during this holiday.”

Currently, the province has 644 tourist accommodation establishments, including 29 hotels and resorts that have been rated from 1 to 5 stars. There are 15 recognized tourist areas and destinations, including: 1 national tourist area, 1 provincial-level tourist area, and 13 provincial-level tourist destinations. Many destinations have been invested in systematically, with complete infrastructure and attractive, unique services that attract tourists, such as: Bach Long Glass Bridge, Moc Chau Night Market - pedestrian street, Dai Yem Waterfall, Ban Ang Pine Forest high-end resort and entertainment area... in Moc Chau National Tourist Area; Pa Uon Ecolake tourist area, Binh Yen Bay, Heart Island, Quynh Long Riverland in Quynh Nhai commune; Ta Xua cloud paradise, Ngoc Chien "fairytale land"...

The focus is on improving the effectiveness of state management of tourism, strengthening guidance and communication to businesses to ensure they meet the requirements regarding infrastructure, equipment, and human resources to serve tourists well; strictly enforcing price listing and selling at the correct price, avoiding price gouging and exploiting peak seasons for profit; providing quality products and services; and raising awareness and responsibility in environmental protection, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and maintaining security and order... to give tourists a positive impression of Son La tourism.
