On May 7th, Mr. Van Si Phuong Ma Lay, Director of the Department of Justice of Udomxay Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, led a delegation to visit Son La Province to exchange and learn from its experience in judicial work and civil enforcement. The delegation was received and worked with by leaders of the Provincial Department of Justice and Civil Enforcement.

The delegation from the Son La Provincial Department of Justice and the Son La Provincial Civil Enforcement Agency attended the working session.
During the meeting, leaders from the two provinces exchanged views on the functions, tasks, organizational structure, and personnel of the Departments of Justice and Civil Enforcement. They also shared experiences on the development of local government regulations; notarization activities in the judicial field; legal dissemination and education; handling administrative violations; and legal assistance. They discussed experiences in organizing the enforcement of court judgments and decisions; solutions for applying information technology and digital transformation to improve the efficiency of enforcement; and the exchange of information and resolution of enforcement cases involving citizens residing in Son La and Udomxay provinces when necessary.

Leaders of the Son La Department of Justice, the Provincial Civil Enforcement Agency, and the Udom Xay Department of Justice signed a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of justice and civil enforcement.
Leaders of the Son La Department of Justice, the Provincial Civil Enforcement Agency, and the Udomxay Department of Justice have agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and information exchange in the fields of justice and civil enforcement. Accordingly, the units will continue to exchange experiences on judicial work at appropriate times, send officials to visit and work together to exchange experiences, and implement, within their authority, the contents of the Agreement signed between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries.
Leaders of the Son La Provincial Department of Justice presented gifts to the Udomxay Provincial Department of Justice.
Leaders of the Provincial Civil Enforcement Department presented gifts to the Department of Justice of Udomxay Province.
At the same time, strengthen propaganda and education for officials, civil servants, and people of all ethnic groups in each province about the tradition of special solidarity, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, and cooperation between Udomxay and Son La provinces in particular; and educate officials and employees of the Department of Justice and Civil Enforcement in each province about cooperative relations related to judicial work and civil enforcement.
