On the evening of May 16th, in Chieng Di 2 village, Van Ho commune, Son La province, the Public Security Communication Department, in coordination with the Son La Provincial Police, organized a live televised art exchange program with the theme "For the Peace of the Villages". This was a key event in a series of activities aimed at grassroots communities, celebrating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.

Attending the program were: Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Hoang Van Nghiem, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La province, along with leaders of central and local ministries, departments and agencies.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that stabilizing the border region's strategic position and maintaining political security and social order are the core foundations for achieving socio-economic breakthroughs. He emphasized that the Party committees and authorities at all levels in Son La province always consider this a crucial task; in the coming time, they will continue to mobilize the strength of the entire political system, creating all favorable conditions for the police force to play a pivotal role, working alongside the people to build Son La into a strong defense zone, developing green and sustainably.
The performance "Love Song of the Northwest".
The performances at the show brought a unique cultural atmosphere of the Northwest region.
With a duration of 120 minutes, the program presented a unique cultural space of the Northwest region through elaborately staged artistic performances, such as: Uncle Ho with the people of the Northwest, Highland Market, and Northwest Love Songs. The highlight of the evening was the touching stories of the guests about their journey in transforming the area from a drug hotspot into a peaceful "bright spot" in Van Ho. The audience also heard about the spirit of "when the people need help, when the people are in difficulty, the police are there" from firefighters and rescue workers, and the efforts to bring official information to the people through the Hmong language radio program.
The organizing committee awarded prizes to 12 individuals for their achievements in the "All People Protect National Security" movement.
