TPO - As part of their visit and working trip to Son La, the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union delegations from Bokeo and Luang Namtha provinces exchanged experiences in youth union work and visited economic models with the youth of Son La, thereby strengthening understanding, close ties, and solidarity among the youth of the three localities.
From September 23-25, the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union delegations from Bokeo and Luang Namtha provinces, Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited and worked in Son La province.

Overview of the talks.
In the program,Son La Provincial Youth UnionOrganized a meeting to exchange experiences on youth union work and youth movements with the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union of Bokeo province and Luang Namtha province.
During the talks, held in an atmosphere of friendship, solidarity, and mutual understanding, the delegates shared practical experiences in youth union work and youth movements.
The content focuses on substantive and effective cooperation in building and promoting youth clubs and cooperatives; connecting businesses and investors, supporting young people in starting businesses and developing the economy; organizing activities of the Youth Union at the commune level; building funds and mobilizing social resources to serve youth affairs.

Representatives from the Son La Provincial Youth Union and the Youth Unions of Bokeo and Luang Namtha provinces shared their experiences and exchanged ideas.
The delegates also exchanged experiences in training and developing Youth Union officials; organizing exchange activities to strengthen solidarity and special friendship between the youth of the two provinces; the work of educating and nurturing young people; and coordinating the organization of Vietnamese language teaching and learning activities for Lao youth.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of coordinating and supporting the construction and development of the Youth Activities Center in Luang Namtha province.
Based on the discussions, both sides agreed to continue maintaining and strengthening exchange activities and sharing experiences; expanding practical coordination activities suitable to the conditions of each locality, contributing to strengthening the close-knit solidarity between the youth of Vietnam and Laos.
During the visit, the youth delegations from Bokeo and Luang Namtha provinces also toured and learned about the Son La Hydropower Plant and exemplary youth economic models.

Youth delegations from Bokeo and Luang Namtha provinces visited the Son La Hydroelectric Power Plant.
Through this, delegates learned more about economic development models, technology applications, production, processing, and product value enhancement in Son La.
Field trips also provide opportunities for young people from different localities to share best practices in production, business, entrepreneurship, and to develop the potential and strengths of each locality.
