The competition focuses on the three core pillars of the national digital transformation: digital government, digital economy, and digital society; aiming to raise awareness and seek highly feasible initiatives to address bottlenecks in state management and public service delivery; and to improve the quality and efficiency of task implementation and enhance the quality of public services for citizens and businesses.
Launched on January 1, 2026, the competition was organized in two rounds: preliminary and final. By June 30, the organizing committee had received 155 entries. After evaluation, 25 outstanding ideas, initiatives, and solutions were selected to participate in the final round of the competition.
The ideas, initiatives, and solutions participating in this year's competition are diverse in terms of fields and approaches to digital transformation; focusing on issues closely related to work and life, from education, agriculture, land management, administrative reform, to promoting local products, developing community digital capacity, and applying artificial intelligence.

Comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, delivered the opening speech.
In his opening remarks at the competition, Comrade Lo Minh Hung emphasized: Digital transformation is not the responsibility of any single industry, agency, or force, but a regular and urgent task for the entire political system and society. For digital transformation to be truly effective, it must begin with practical issues, concrete initiatives, and a spirit of daring to think, daring to act, and daring to innovate for the common good.
Through this competition, Son La aims to create more space for officials, Party members, students, teachers, and other social forces to share best practices, experiment with new ideas, and gradually integrate digital technology and artificial intelligence into practical work. This will contribute to spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, and promoting digital transformation in agencies, units, localities, and communities.

The Judging Panel members should work with the highest sense of responsibility, ensuring fairness, objectivity, independence, and accuracy in the scoring process; prioritizing ideas, initiatives, and solutions that are highly practical, scalable, easy to apply, and bring tangible results in performing tasks and serving the people and businesses.
