In an atmosphere of warm solidarity, the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province expressed their joy and excitement at welcoming the delegation and informed them of the results of implementing tasks related to agricultural and rural development in Son La province, as well as the results of cooperation with the two provinces of Udomxay and Phongsaly.

Over the years, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province has strengthened its foreign relations, friendly cooperation, and exchange of experiences in agriculture and rural development with neighboring provinces of Laos. From 2012 to the present, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province has supported Udomxay province with 70 tons of VA06 grass seeds, 20 tons of NPK fertilizer, 20 tons of superphosphate fertilizer, 4 tons of urea fertilizer, and transportation and operational costs for implementing a 10-hectare VA06 grass planting model in Muong Xay and Na Mo districts; and supported the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Udomxay province in implementing a fruit tree model in Muong Hun district, with a total of 3,280 mango and longan seedlings, distributed to 8 households for planting on an area of 6.5 hectares,...

In recent years, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province has strengthened coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Phongsaly province. They regularly exchange information on agricultural and rural development; share experiences in state management and orientation for cooperation in subsequent stages; and organize visits for delegations to some exemplary agricultural production models in Son La province to learn from their experiences.

Speaking at the meeting, leaders of the Departments of Agriculture and Environment of Udomxay and Phongsaly provinces (Lao People's Democratic Republic) expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province. They also expressed their desire to continue coordinating and exchanging information on agriculture and forestry; regularly organizing working groups to meet, exchange experiences, and visit production models, contributing to strengthening and deepening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Son La province, ensuring its continued growth and development.
