On June 12th, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with the Department of Foreign Affairs and other relevant departments and agencies to review the preparation of the content and program of the working visit of the Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee to the three provinces of Luang Prabang, Oudomxay, and Bokeo in the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The Department of Foreign Affairs reported on the preparation of the content and work program for the Provincial Party Secretary's visit to the three northern provinces of Laos. Accordingly, the Department of Foreign Affairs has issued official letters and received written responses from the Lao provinces agreeing on the work program; completed the report evaluating the results of the 2022-2025 period and drafted the Memorandum of Agreement for the 2026-2029 period; coordinated with relevant departments and agencies to produce a video report evaluating the results of the 2022-2025 period; prepared personnel files for the delegation, budget estimates, diplomatic gifts, aid-related documents, materials for the talks, and an information handbook...
During the meeting, delegates discussed and contributed ideas on the preparation of a summary report in the form of a video presentation; agreed on the composition and number of delegates participating, reception and logistics arrangements, and other necessary conditions for the trip.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Foreign Affairs to continue coordinating closely with relevant departments and agencies to promptly finalize the contents according to regulations; carefully review the program, content of the talks and draft cooperation agreements, ensuring feasibility during implementation. Thorough preparation of reception and logistics is also required to ensure the working trip is safe and effective. Regarding video clips, the Department of Foreign Affairs should continue coordinating with Son La Newspaper and Radio and Television to review and edit the content to ensure it is concise and highlights the results of cooperation between Son La and the provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in various fields; fully update new data and representative images, ensuring the videos clearly showcase the potential, strengths, and cooperation orientation of Son La province in the coming period, meeting the requirements for serving the talks of the high-level delegation.
