Tourists enjoy the experience at LamSon Farm vineyard in Moc Chau, Moc Son ward.

At this time of year, the vineyards on the Moc Chau plateau are beginning their harvest season, becoming a popular destination for tourists to experience and explore. Visiting LamSon Farm in Moc Son ward, we were truly impressed by the lush green space, the rows of straight grapevines, and the clusters of plump, dark purple grapes hanging from the trellises – a truly beautiful sight. To have such abundant vineyards to welcome visitors, the farmers of Moc Chau have put in a great deal of effort. Growing grapes in the high-humidity highlands of Moc Chau requires strict cultivation techniques. A well-invested system of greenhouses and polytunnels is in place to protect against rain, prevent pests and diseases, and control temperature.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, Manager of LamSon Farm Moc Chau, shared: Currently, the farm has nearly 1 hectare planted with Ha Den grapes; this is a "fussy" grape variety that requires specific pruning techniques, fertilization procedures, and comprehensive care. Besides caring for the orchard, we also focus on improving and decorating the surrounding landscape and creating photo opportunities. Visitors will be able to directly taste and learn about the closed-loop care process, thereby building trust in the Moc Chau brand of clean agricultural products.

Tourists experience picking grapes in the vineyard.

Having learned about LamSon Farm Moc Chau through social media, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga from Hanoi took advantage of the weekend to bring her children to experience and visit the vineyard. While selecting bunches of ripe grapes, Ms. Nga shared: "Coming to the vineyard, we enjoyed the fresh air and learned more about safe production processes and agricultural knowledge. Picking ripe, plump grapes ourselves and enjoying them right in the vineyard was a great experience for the whole family."

Leaving LamSon Farm in Moc Chau, we arrived at Bai Say residential area, Moc Chau ward. Tam Hue vineyard here stands out amidst the fields, with its well-invested greenhouse system. Currently, the Black Ha grapes are in their peak harvest season; the ripe, plump, purple bunches of grapes attract tourists who come to enjoy and buy them directly from the vineyard.

Ms. Vu Thi Hue, from Bai Say residential area, informed: Her family currently cultivates over 2,500 m² of grapes. Initially, the vineyard was built for production and business; however, when many locals and tourists showed interest, the family opened it to visitors for sightseeing and experiences. Currently, the vineyard is linked with eco-tourism routes, allowing tourists to take photos, pick and enjoy ripe grapes directly from the vineyard, and purchase products as souvenirs. On weekdays, the vineyard receives about 30 visitors; on weekends, this increases to about 200 visitors thanks to many tourists sharing on social media. As a result, the harvested grapes are mainly sold directly at the vineyard, eliminating the need to worry about finding outlets for the product.

Accompanied by her parents to experience and personally pick ripe bunches of grapes from the vines, Nguyen Khanh Huyen, from Quang Ninh province, excitedly said: "This is the first time I've seen a grapevine, and I find it very strange and interesting. When picking, I choose the ripest and most beautiful bunches of grapes to share with my grandparents and family."

The vineyards on the Moc Chau plateau are becoming an attractive tourist destination. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the lush green space of the vineyards laden with grapes, directly harvest and enjoy fresh produce, and relax amidst nature. This model of integrating agricultural production with ecotourism contributes to increasing the value of local agricultural products, diversifying tourism offerings, and further affirming Moc Chau's appeal to both domestic and international tourists.
