Closing ceremony of the Vietnamese language training course for officials from provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, courses K16 and K17, academic year 2025-2026.

In accordance with Project No. 13 dated May 31, 2024, of the Son La Provincial Party Committee on training intermediate-level political theory for officials from provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, in the 2025-2026 academic year, Son La College admitted and trained 161 students in Vietnamese (including 40 students from course K16 and 121 students from course K17).

Throughout the 9-month training period, the school consistently prioritizes the well-being of students, providing adequate facilities, equipment, and teaching materials. The training program is designed to closely align with the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. Teaching methods consistently integrate theory with practice, and regular in-class assessments are conducted to hone the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Students of courses K16 and K17 have completed their training.

During their studies in Son La, Lao students participated in many cultural and sports exchange activities; took part in the extracurricular program "Lao Students - A Journey with the Vietnamese Language in 2026"; and participated in practical learning experiences at several historical sites and scenic spots in the province, helping them strengthen their Vietnamese language skills and gain a better understanding of the land, culture, and people of Son La.

At the end of the course, 100% of the students were proficient in Vietnamese for communication, capable of performing their professional duties and successfully passing the Vietnamese language proficiency assessment exam. Son La College awarded Vietnamese language certificates to the students and commended 30 students with outstanding academic and training achievements.
